The path of the Sanctuary
From choosing the land to the official opening — every stage in the birth of Casa Das Águas Sagradas.

Land purchase
The dream finds its home in Monchique. The land is chosen to give birth to the Sanctuary.
- May–June 2025
Designing the vision
The architectural program is defined and the contract with the architect is signed. The vision begins to take shape.
- June–July 2025
Stage 1 (40 days)
Architectural project · Accessibility · Thermal study. The vision is officially presented to the Municipal Council.
- August–October 2025
Stage 2 (60 days)
Full engineering of the Sanctuary: structure, water and sewage networks, acoustics, thermal study, ITED, HVAC, electrical, fire safety. The energetic and physical body of the Sanctuary is designed.
- October 2025
Stage 3 (10 days)
Contracts · Insurance · Health & Safety Plan · Waste management. Legal and technical preparation to start construction.
- November 2025
Construction begins
Earthworks · Foundations · Site preparation. The vision becomes matter. The earth breathes.
- December 2025
Water implementation
Water connection · Drainage · Sewage. The water element finds its course within the Sanctuary.
- January 2026
Light implementation
Electrical connection · Installation of energy points. Light reaches the project. Energy begins to flow.
- February–March 2026
Infrastructure to welcome people
Bathrooms · Showers · Service areas · Welcome spaces. The Sanctuary opens its arms to the community.

Stage 4 (20 days)
Final finishes · Certifications · IMI records. Use license and official opening of the Sanctuary.
